Progress through the ages of history while building your fantasy town in Townhold!

PROGRESSION

Starting from the throes of the early ages, plan, build, and admire your town as it grows. Using your town's population, you will accumulate progress, which tracks how close you are to the next era in your town's history. The more population and control over your environment you have, the faster you will move throughout history. Each era comes with its own new buildings, policies, and lore!

BUILDING

Build residential, industrial, decorative, and special buildings! Each comes with their own resource usage, so manage them wisely to prevent overspending. Each building also comes with special perks ranging from decorative to imperative to progression.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

There are five main resources: money, wood, stone, food, and water. You must learn to manage them well to keep your citizens happy and your town expanding! Earn wood and stone by investing in industrial buildings or by utilizing the natural environment. Water is allocated per the amount of tiles owned near water tiles. Food is earned with farms. To harvest one resource, there is always a cost in terms of other resources.
